Safety in emergency response training has been, and will continue to be, the instructor’s foremost responsibility. Smoke Trainer enhances the total safety of the student by allowing consistent control of the individual’s ability and specific objectives. An excellent tool for any impaired visibility training, Smoke Trainer is easily applied, can be removed and changed to IDLH conditions in seconds, and can be used repeatedly. It fits all major SCBA’s (SCOTT, SURVIVAIR, INTERSPIRO, MSA, Draeger and ISI).
Smoke Trainer gives you total realistic simulation of a smoke-filled IDLH environment. This is available in three IDLH environments: limited visibility (light smoke), partial engulfment (medium smoke) and total engulfment (heavy smoke) ~ it allows you to train anywhere and anytime. Smoke Trainer can be used at the fire station, Confined Space Rescue, Large Area Search, RIT, with Thermal Imaging Cameras also in High-Rise Training, as well as Buddy Breathing Training. Training Officers can clearly observe all training sessions while videotaping, and review and critique the videotape with their students. Smoke Trainer provides the most realistic smoke training you can do.
Smoke Trainer improves efficiency and training quality with less preparation time than is required with artificial smoke machines. There is no warm-up, actual smoking of the environment, moist residue considerations or messy cleanup. There are no external power supplies, additional liquid or aerosols required during training. Neither will the trainer entail traveling time expense, cleanup of machines or waiting for the structure to fill up with smoke. Smoke Trainer allows individuals to train on-site in production areas of their plant or facility.
